    School Social Worker
    Special Services Department

    Description:

    The School Social Worker is a member of the Child Study Team, sharing with other members (LDT-C and School Psychologist) the responsibility of evaluating, determining classification, recommending, and monitoring special education programs.  The School Social Worker will be responsible for writing IEP's and providing counseling to students.

    Certifications/Qualifications:
     
    • Valid NJ Certification: School Social Worker - Required
    • Knowledge of the New Jersey Administrative Code, Special Education (NJAC 6A:14)
    • CST experience - Preferred

    Salary pursuant to the WTEA contract
