Position Summary: Deliver lesson plans as provided by the absent Teacher and manage the classroom.
Work Schedule: FLEXIBLE - Monday - Friday between 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
License Required: Minnesota Teaching license issued by the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board or a Short Call Substitute Teacher license. Short Call Licenses can be obtained if you have a Bachelor’s degree in any subject – no teaching preparation program required!
Salary: $145 for a full day, or $72.50 for a half day.
Application Procedure: Qualified candidates should apply online at www.isd110.org. Application materials must include an ISD 110 application, letter of introduction, resume, educational transcripts, and a current license issued from the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board.
Candidates who do not currently hold a Minnesota standard Teaching license or limited short call license and have completed the STEDI SubSkills training course will have to apply for a short call license with the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board at https://mn.gov/pelsb. This will need to be completed prior to attending a Substitute orientation.
