    Title:                     Bus Driver
    Reports to:          Transportation Director
    Job Type:             4 runs per day/hourly 


    Minimum Qualifications:      
     
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
    • Possess a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
    • Successful completion of driver training school
    • Ability to pass a criminal background check
    • Ability to pass a physical, including a drug test


    Job Description:                   
     
    • Utilize map-reading skills to drive bus to transport students over specified routes according to time schedule
    • Maintain a good driving record by complying with traffic regulations
    • Evacuate students from school bus in case of emergency
    • Deal with stressful conditions in a professional manner
    • Perform and properly complete daily pre-trip inspections
    • Comply with discipline policies set forth in the School Code of Conduct for Transportation
    • Show proficiency in handling and maneuvering a school bus
    • Build a good rapport with students and parents
    • Other duties assigned by the Transportation Director


    Salary:             Starting at $28.27 per run per the 2023-2025 Support Staff Agreement
