    Description:      
    Responsible for leading Tulsa Tech’s overall outreach strategy, building and maintaining relationships with key external stakeholders and driving community engagement initiatives to improve student access and success.  Advocates for Tulsa Tech’s Mission across various channels, serving as the public face of the district’s outreach efforts and representing Tulsa Tech by serving as a Board Member on selected Boards.
     
    Essential Functions:
    1. Serve on the Superintendent’s Cabinet under the direction of the Superintendent/CEO.
    2. Identify key outreach priorities and develop comprehensive outreach strategic plans aligned with Tulsa Tech’s strategic goals. 
    3. Engage and cultivate strong relationships with community leaders, influencers, and key stakeholders to create awareness and support of Tulsa Tech’s programs and services.
    4. Build partnerships with other organizations to leverage resources and expand reach. Engage and educate stakeholders in a systematic way to improve student access and success.
    5. Develop a government engagement strategy to align resources and goals with local and sovereign governments.
    6. Design and launch impactful outreach programs and campaigns tailored to specific audiences that support Tulsa Tech’s mission and strategic goals. Formulate short and long-term goals concerning the development of outreach and advancement efforts of the district.
    7. Lead and manage outreach efforts and coordinate activities across various departments and campuses.
    8. Regularly assess and obtain feedback from all stakeholders. Establish measurable metrics to track the success of outreach initiatives.
    9. Serve as a conduit for community leadership by representing Tulsa Tech on non-profit and for-profit Boards. Represent the organization at conferences, events and community gatherings. Engage in public speaking opportunities to promote the organization’s initiatives, mission, and programs.
    10. Working with the Superintendent and CFO, develop and manage the outreach budget, allocating resources effectively across different initiatives through monitoring program expenditures and ensuring cost-efficiency.
    11. Provide input to strategic and operational planning for the district; assist in leading continuous planning efforts.
    12. Provide assistance to the Superintendent in managing and coordinating with the Board of Education in its regular and committee meetings; generating/reviewing external communications; and advocating policy changes and legislative issues that support the organization’s goals.
    13. Serve as a liaison to the Tulsa Tech Education Foundation executive committee and foundation board members to raise funds to support educational practices and professional development while also working to help provide financial scholarships to students that are struggling to meet financial obligations while maintaining their enrollment in Tulsa Tech programs.
     
    Position Requirements:
     
    • At least Ten (10) years of progressive experience that includes demonstrated outreach and development experience.
    • Valid State Issued Driver's License
    • Bilingual is a plus
     
    Education:
    Master's Degree required.

    Salary Schedule:  
    SPMS

    Hiring Range:
    $118,132 to $148,866 dependent on experience, plus additional $9,000 annual compensation for salary-in-lieu of dependent benefit coverage.
