The Town of Scarborough’s Community Services Department is seeking applicants who are creative, energetic, caring, responsible, and dependable to work full time 40 hours/week in our eight-week seasonal summer day camp program. The program consists of children who are entering kindergarten through 6th grade. Applicants are responsible for supervision on and off site and for planning activities and providing them daily.
 
Individuals are required to be available June 16 – August 14, 2025 anytime between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Mandatory trainings will be required prior to the first official day of camp. Salary is based on education and experience.
 
Position requirements: Candidates must have completed their junior year of high school. Ability to communicate with children, staff, and parents effectively. Basic knowledge of children’s developmental needs. First Aid/CPR and Water Safety Certification or willingness to be trained.

The Scarborough Town Hall is located at 259 U.S. Route 1, just south of the junction of Rt. 1 and Black Point Road/Gorham Road.
