MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT
GENERAL CLERK
7 HRS PER DAY/180 DAYS PER SCHOOL YR
ANTICIPATED START DATE: TBD
QUALIFICATIONS: - High School Diploma or GED - Required
- Basic computer skills required, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and maintenance management software.
- Bilingual English/Spanish – Preferred
- Accurate/efficient data entry skills - Required
- Effective oral and written communication skills - Required
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
- Previous clerical experience or maintenance coordination is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Knowledge of basic facilities maintenance practices and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.
- Familiarity with vendor bid processes and legal requirements in a public-school setting.
- Strong Communication skills both verbal and written.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends for special events or emergency maintenance issues.
RCW 49.58.110 REQUIREMENTS
Hourly Rate: $19.68 – $22.79 per hour (Depending on Experience & Education)
