The Teammates Mentoring Coordinator is responsible for managing and implementing the Teammates Mentoring Program, facilitating mentor-mentee relationships, and promoting the growth and success of the program within the South Sioux City Schools. This role involves collaboration with mentors, mentees, families, school staff, and community partners to ensure a supportive and impactful mentoring experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and support mentors in accordance with Teammates Mentoring Program guidelines.
- Coordinate the matching process between mentors and mentees, ensuring compatibility and alignment with program goals.
- Plan and facilitate mentor-mentee training sessions, meetings, and special events.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for mentors, mentees, and their families, providing ongoing support and communication.
- Collaborate with school staff and administration to integrate the mentoring program into the school environment effectively.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress and outcomes of the mentoring relationships, gathering feedback and making improvements as needed.
- Maintain accurate records, including mentor and mentee profiles, attendance, and engagement metrics.
- Promote the program through community outreach, presentations, and partnerships to increase awareness and participation.
- Ensure compliance with all Teammates Mentoring Program standards and guidelines.
- Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders, demonstrating program success and areas for growth.
This is a part-time position with 16 hours per week.
