World Language Facilitator
Position Purpose
Under the supervision of the Advanced Instruction and World Language Coordinator the World Language Facilitator will work to provide leadership and expertise in World Languages content and curriculum.
Department: Curriculum and Instruction
Number of Hours: Up to 15 hours per month
Compensation: $31.50 per hour (Maximum total - $4,725)
Term: 2022-2023 School Year
Essential Performance Responsibilities

Assists in the facilitation of instructional resource development
Develops instructional resources and materials to support the implementation of common assessments, performance-based assessments, and project-based learning
Co-plans and facilitates professional learning communities at the elementary and secondary levels
Provides staff development as needed
Assists with collaborating and consulting with other content area staff to support cross-curricular integration
Performs related tasks as required

Additional Duties
Performs other related tasks as assigned by Chief Academic Officer and/or Director of Curriculum and Instruction.
Equipment
Uses standard office equipment such as personal computers, printer, copy and fax machines, and telephone.
Travel Requirements
Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelors from an accredited college or university in education or related discipline applicable to teaching assignment
Must hold a Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in a World Language
Currently serving as a secondary World Language teacher
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Physical and Mental Demands, Work Hazards
Works in standard office and school building environments.
