Qualifications: 
Required:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.

3. Ability to read write and interpret rules, reports and procedure manuals as required when performing assignments.
4. The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking to others so they will understand both orally and in writing.

Job Goal:
Under the supervision of the Director of Building and Grounds, this position is responsible for performing grounds work in assigned locations.  Responsibilities may include basic lawn care (mowing, landscaping, general maintenance), and snow removal (operating large plow trucks, shoveling snow, applying salt to surfaces). 
 
Performance Responsibilities:
Duties may vary by season
1. Plant, trim, spray, mow, weed, sweep, rake, cultivate, plant, dig, water, shovel snow, remove ice, spread salt, and other related functions of a grounds keeper.
2. Possess the ability, experience and necessary training to operate machinery such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, skid-steer loaders, etc.
3. Ability to maintain lawn mowers and other landscaping equipment.
4. Operate various types of equipment including frontend loaders, power mowers, saws, sprayers, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, blowers, hand pruners and pole straws.
5. Operate light or medium weight trucks and tractors, and attachments used to maintain grounds as needed.
6. Assist in preparing specified grounds areas for special events as directed by Director.
7. Move and arrange furniture as required.
8. Remove debris from driveways, garages, bus loading areas, and entrances to buildings.
9. Assist building custodians in the set-up/removal of chairs and tables for special events.
10. Fill in for other shift custodial absence as required by Administration.
11. Request repair work as discovered and report needs immediately for maintenance.
12. Keep equipment clean and neat.
13. Perform minor adjustments and repairs as needed.
14. Follows the chain of command as required.
15. Reports to work each day neat and clean.
16. Works in all types of weather conditions.
17. Regular and reliable attendance.
18. Manages ones’ own time efficiently.
19. Attend in-service training and school meetings as directed.
20. Demonstrates a positive attitude, loyalty, cooperation, teamwork, attendance and safety.

9. Must be capable frequently of squatting for up to 2 minutes at a time.
10. Must be capable occasionally of bending over for up to 3 minutes at a time.
11. Must be capable occasionally of pushing folding chair portable cart requiring 70 pounds-force, then lifting folding chairs weighing 5 pounds from two-tier portable cart to floor.
12. Must be capable of using hand tools requiring a grip force of up to 15 pounds.
13. Must be capable of working in extreme temperatures, humid and dusty environments.

10. Set up chairs for special events.

11. Moves cafeteria tables within the building for special events.

6. Assist teaching staff in securing AV equipment and materials.

8. Maintain library area as a functional teaching center.

9. Maintain library inventory.

Qualifications:
 
1. Must possess a chauffeur’s license, with air brake endorsement.

Job Goal: To work under limited supervision performing a variety of installation, repair and upkeep of the district’s equipment and facilities; troubleshooting minor maintenance problems involving structural, electrical, plumbing, and equipment repair and replacement.
 
 
 
Performance Responsibilities:
 
1. Perform maintenance for all district facilities.

2. Perform preventative building maintenance duties, such as but no limited to caulking windows and doors, repairing and replacing broken windows.

3. Assembles and moves furniture, hanging bulletin boards or other required items.

4. Repairs and replaces door knobs or locks, repairs door closures, patches holes in walls, paints interior and exterior walls as required.

5. Performs routine electrical repairs such as changing light bulbs or fluorescent lamps and assists in repairing electrical fixtures.

6. Perform all types of heating, cooling and plumbing repairs.

7. On-call for all types of emergencies as they occur.

8. On-call for snow removal.

9. Be observant and report to supervisor any unusual maintenance situation.

10. Follows directives given by immediate supervisor or Director of Buildings and Grounds.

11. Uses good judgment to complete work assignments.

12. File all necessary requests for purchases with supervisor.

13. Maintain rooftop HVAC units.

14. Record data in maintenance logs when work is performed.

15. Complete legible daily log records as directed by the Director of Buildings and Grounds.

16. Maintains clean workplace.

17. Maintains good public relations with students, staff, and community.

18. Provides an appropriate role model for the district.

19. Maintain confidentialities of sensitive information.

Job Goal:
To perform all assigned tasks – food preparation, serving, clean-up and scanning with the objective to meet or exceed the expectations of their immediate supervisor and customers.  Recognizes always the mission, vision and core values of the District and the Food & Nutrition Department.
 
Performance Responsibilities:
1. Prepare food per written menu or other assignments using standardized recipes or manufacturer’s instructions using food preparation principles for quality and food safety and complete production records for menu items prepared in a timely fashion as instructed by the Head Cook.
2. For assigned area, calculate food and supplies needed and give order to the Head Cook.
3. Serve food following portion control instructions of Head Cook, CN Labels and/or standardized recipes.
4. Do cleaning assignments following HACCP SOPs and as instructed by the Head Cook.
5. Operate and clean kitchen equipment following manufacturer’s instructions or as instructed by the Head Cook.
6. Follow federal and state guidelines for serving reimbursable meals.
7. Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information.
8. All other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands:
1. Must be able of constantly standing throughout the work shift.
2. Must constantly present appropriate appearance and personal cleanliness suited to working in close proximity to food service customer.
3. Must be able to frequently work with interruptions during a work shift.
4. Must be capable of frequently working with co-workers with different personalities.

16. Must have physical dexterity in limbs and digits necessary to operate a motor vehicle and other food preparation and cleaning tools and equipment.

Required:
1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Demonstrated ability to successfully work with the needs of all Pre-K thru 12^th Grade students.
3. Successful completion of physical, criminal background and child abuse registry check, and pre-work screening at time of hire.
4. Experience working in an educational setting.
5. Ability to obtain required training, including but not limited to the following: certification to administer medication to students, American Heart or Red Cross First Aid/CPR certification, Crisis Prevention Institute Training (CPI)
6. Ability to work with all students with diverse needs.
Desired:
1. Successful work or volunteer experience with disabled population
2. Supervisory experience with school age children

8. Must be willing to come into contact with body fluids such as urine and feces, blood and nasal secretions and contagious diseases such as flu and the common cold.
9. Must be capable of using cleaning and sanitizing chemicals with appropriate PPE.
10. Must be capable of working in broad range of temperatures, humidity and other winter and summer environments.
11. Must be capable of working in a noisy environment.
12. Must have physical dexterity in limbs and digits necessary to physically interact with children in a playground and classroom environment.
