Candidate will be expected to: 
1. Plan and execute classroom instruction to specifically meet the educational needs of students with ASD and related disabilities
2. Implement the goals and objectives in each student's IEP within a class and school environment that fosters learning and personal growth in cognitive, social/emotional and language areas of development. 
3. Experience with working with individuals on the Autism spectrum required.
4. Understanding of/experience with ABA teaching procedures (e.g. prompting techniques, reinforcement strategies).
5. Understanding of/experience with data collection and graphing. 
6. Experience with understanding behavior management strategies and Behavior Intervention Plans written in IEPs.
7. Experience with ABA-Related assessments (e.g. ABLLS & VB-MAPP) as related to IEPs.
8. Minimum of two years of work experience in special education preferred.
9. Ability to communicate and collaborate with related service providers, teachers and families.
