Pay Schedule: Teacher Salary
This position is for the 2025 - 2026 school year.
The candidate must have a U.S. Bachelor’s degree in Education, Spanish or a related field, or its equivalent. Additionally, the candidate must have a valid South Carolina teaching Elementary or Early Childhood certificate and be fluent in Spanish.
The specific job responsibilities of the position include: (i) teach cultural appreciation, pronunciation, spelling/vocabulary, grammar, and/or comprehension to elementary school students in target language (Spanish); (ii) translate curriculum materials into the target language; (iii) create supplemental materials to enrich the curriculum in the target language; (iv) teach age appropriate cultural practices, products and perspectives of the target language to elementary school students by integrating through daily practices and activities in the classroom; and (v) perform other duties as assigned including tutoring elementary school students, curriculum writing, peer evaluations and/or similar duties.
