    The Richfield Public School District is currently accepting applications for a TOSA/Peer Reviewer- Disctrictwide for the 2025-2026 school year. 
    We are located in the heart of the Twin Cities Metropolitan area and serve a diverse student population in Richfield and the surrounding communities.  The Richfield Public Schools are committed to preparing all students for success in a changing world.
     

     

     ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

     
    • Supporting colleagues in transforming schools into equitable places of learning where every child gets their needs met, every day, in order to be successful and to thrive.

    • Conducting observations and providing coaching and feedback on instructional strategies related to alternative compensation goals, using the Danielson Framework for Teaching.

    • Providing direct mentoring support for teachers new to the profession during their first and second years in the district.

    • Supporting colleagues on developing and implementing professional growth plans (PGPs) and providing materials, ideas, and suggestions for achieving goals.

    • Designing and facilitating district-wide professional development.

    • Participating in training and collaboration with colleagues.

    • Completing and filing required documentation in a timely manner. 

    QUALIFICATIONS

     
    • Continuing contract and in good standing in Richfield Public Schools.

    • Currently licensed in education in the State of Minnesota.

    • Previous coaching/evaluation experience or training preferred.

    • Master’s Degree or advanced professional training preferred.

    • Demonstrates a commitment to professional learning and growth.

    • Demonstrates a commitment to equity and transformational change.

    • Demonstrates knowledge of district curriculum and state standards.

    • Demonstrates knowledge of the Danielson Framework for Teaching.

    • Committed to developing respectful, empathetic and supportive relationships with staff members.

    • Committed to collaboration with and among all RPS colleagues.

    • Committed to learning about and helping teachers implement recent developments in content-related pedagogy.

    • Utilizing proactive planning and problem solving skills to effectively assist staff and team members. 

    PREFERRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE

     
    • Spanish speaker

    • Uses reflective thinking

    • Ability to manage competing demands efficiently and effectively, while remaining flexible to accommodate educators’ schedules

    • Experience building a healthy class culture where all students belong and thrive

    • Experience using pedagogy aligned to the Danielson Framework for Teaching

    • Demonstrated effectiveness in using data to promote strong student outcomes

    • Experience using differentiated instruction to meet instructional needs of diverse groups of students

    • Willingness to explore and integrate new technology

    • Strong interpersonal, oral & written skills

    • Experience designing and facilitating professional development

    • Participation in building & district initiatives

    Term: 3 year term with an option to reapply for an additional 3 year term 
    Salary Range: $49,415- $108,740 (Based experience)
