Bellevue ISD is a small rural school located between Henrietta and Bowie,Texas on Hwy 287. There are approximately 185 students in grades PK-12. Bellevue is a ranch and agricultural community with one large manufacturing plant that cares and supports the school district. Students and teachers are dedicated to the success of the school as can be seen in the success of the Academic program.

Bellevue is accepting applications/resumes for an Agriculture Science teacher. The primary responsibility is to provide classroom instruction. The purpose is to provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to fulfill their potential for growth while providing an opportunity to participate in FFA activities.

Performance Responsibilities
Translates lesson plans into learning experiences to develop pertinent sequential assignments, challenge students, and best utilize the available time for instruction.
Teaches knowledge and skills in Ag Science courses
Ensures that student conduct conforms to the school's standards and school district policies, and establishes and maintains standards of student behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere in the classroom.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational pedagogy, as well as differentiated instruction based upon student learning styles
Knowledge of a wide range of concepts in subject assigned
Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work.

Qualifications Profile
Texas Certification in Agriculture Science.
