QUALIFICATIONS:    
 
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous work with students, preferred
• Must be able to pass background check upon hire
• Must be able to speak, read and understand English
• Must have ability to relate well with children and other district staff and community members
• Strong communication skills with employees (school and district), parents, and students - able to generate positive relations and morale
• Ability to multi-task
• Self-directed, displays problem solving abilities
• Ability to use and have working knowledge of computers
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at a distance up to 100 feet
 

Salary/Benefits:
 
• $18.00-$21.30 per hour based the 2024-2025 Classified Pay Schedule. Placement based on previous experience. 
• 4-8 hours per day as assinged by the Transportation Coordinator and Director of Special Education 
• Monday - Friday
• Approximately 170 work days per school year. Summers and school breaks off (unpaid)
