SCOPE OF DUTIES:
The Odessa R-VII School District is currently seeking a qualified Assistant Cheer Coach for the 2025-2026 school year. The job of Assistant Coach is done for the purpose/s of assisting in the designing and implementing the athletic program for the assigned sport, in accordance with applicable rules and regulations; providing supervision of other coaching personnel; providing supervision of students during all aspects of the program; using sound instructional techniques in overseeing program activities; serving as a positive role model to student athletes; and serving in a liaison capacity for the school and program with other schools both within and/or outside the district, to the community, and to various organizations.

SALARY:
Pursuant to District Extra Duty Salary Schedule

The Odessa R-VII School District is seeking a dynamic, student centered, collaborative individual to fill an opening as an Agriculture Teacher and FFA Advisor for the 2025-26 school year. This person will be joining our current team of two other agriculture teachers and a well-balanced program. The position includes an FFA Stipend and a Contract Extension. The department currently is offering instruction in the Animal Science, Plant Science, Ag Business, Natural Resources, and Agriculture Mechanics pathways. Considerable flexibility is available on what will be taught by this instructor. Certification or the ability to obtain certification in Agriculture Education is required.
