What You’ll Do:
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) to support students’ learning and development.
Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students in a K-2 setting.
Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom culture that promotes the social, emotional, and academic growth of every student.
Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to create a cohesive support system for students.
Provide regular progress reports and celebrate each student’s achievements, no matter how big or small.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education (or related field) preferred; Master’s degree a plus.
- Valid state certification in Special Education (PK-12) or eligible for Type 01 or Type 04 Emergency Certification.
- Expercience working with students with Autism a must.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to create a positive, inclusive, and adaptive classroom environment.
- Skills and Attributes:
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to use adaptive technologies and assistive devices.
- Knowledge of visual schedules, sensory supports, and social skills training.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative team.

Bachelor's +15: $60,914 (starting step)
Master's Degree: $63,028 (starting step)
Master's + 15: $63,173 (starting step)
Master's + 30: $70,400 (starting step)
Master's + 45: $73,359 (starting step)
Master's +60: $76,591 (starting step)
Doctorate: $84,312 (starting step)

7 hours 20 minutes per day, 5 days per week
