Job Goal:
Under direction, the purpose of the position is to assist the Technology Department with summer upgrades and maintenance of District technology equipment
Qualifications: - Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be available to travel to various schools including Amargosa, Beatty, Gabbs, Round Mountain and Tonopah
- Must have a valid Nevada driver license
- Must pass a reference check, mandatory fingerprint background check and drug and alcohol testing
Knowledge: - Knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Knowledge of computer connection to the Internet via Ethernet on Windows
- Ability to accurately enter data using a computer keyboard
- Ability to read and follow verbal and written directions of technology staff
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships
- Ability to safely lift and carry computer equipment weighing up to 30 pounds
- Ability and willingness to comply with all district policies and procedures regarding appropriate access to and use of district computer systems
