    In an effort to support our students who may need an opportunity to recover lost credits, the NMPS is offering an after-school credit recovery program that begins on February 5th for 12 weeks on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:40 p.m. to 4:40 p.m.

    The Credit Recovery Teacher (CRT) will work with students enrolled in an online program called EdGenuity.

    Applicants must hold content-specific (History, English, Math, Science) 7-12 CT Certification.

    The responsibility of the CRT is to:

     
    • Assist in the monitoring of student attendance.
    • Communicate with parents/guardians as needed.
    • Support students through daily monitoring of course progress,
    • Help the student set daily working goals to ensure student completion of the course.
    • Assist students in navigating the platform.
    • Provide scaffold instruction for the student to work through the online course offering.
    • One two- hour training and preparation session will be provided at the stated rate of pay.
     

    Compensation is based on the contract rate for Adult Education (Appendix H).
    Teacher Training Date - Thursday January 30th - 2:40 - 3:40.
