ADMINISTRATOR - SPECIAL EDUCATION ESY
PENDING JUNE BOARD OF EDUCATION ADJUSTMENT TO THE 2025 -2026 BUDGET 

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Administrator needed to provide oversight and organization of the Special Education Summer Program, nineteen days during the period of Monday July 7, 2025 - Thursday, August 7, 2025, 8:00am to 2:00pm - Mondays through Thursdays only (19 Days plus 1-day prep) 2 split positions available. 
 
1. Oversight of the special education summer program. (Staffing, busing, IEP's, behavioral issues, and instruction). Location: SNIS
2. Ensure the safe and orderly environment of the summer school program.
3. Complete miscellaneous reporting and data collection tasks.
4. Chair and facilitate outstanding PPT's as required.
5. Oversee all IEP Progress Reports through 
 
REPORTS TO: Director of Special Services 

COMPENSATION: Hourly Per Diem Rate

MLL - Multi Lingual Learner Tutor/Support

New Milford Public Schools has an immediate opening for an MLL Tutor Support for the 2024-2025 school year. 

Position: Multi Lingual Learner Tutor
Hourly Rate - $18.50 per hour, no benefits.
Three days per week, 7 hours per day. 

Start Date:  ASAP

End Date: May 16, 2025.

Specifications: The MLL Tutor works in cooperation with and under the supervision of the MLL Coordinator and teachers. 

Major Responsibilities:
1. Assist MLL students in the mainstream area settings.
2. Provide academic and organizational assistance in the completion of classwork and homework assignments.
3. Provide one-on-one or small group support to help clarify difficult academic concepts presented by the teacher.
4. Assist students in the organization of materials needed for class or during labs or projects.
5. Communicate with teachers, administrators, pupil personnel staff or others with regard to student performance and progress.
6. Administer modified tests or quizzes on behalf of the classroom teachers.
7. Focus on skill-building with students, such as note-taking, outlining, graphic organizers, computation, study skills, etc.
8. Assume other such duties and assignments as may be requested by the teachers or administrators.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Ability to maintain confidentiality about issues related to children and families
• Experience working in a public school desirable
• Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
