PARAPROFESSIONAL - LITCHFIELD HILLS TRANSITION CENTER
PENDING JUNE BOARD OF EDUCATION ADJUSTMENT TO THE 2025 -2026 BUDGET 

POSITION: PARAPROFESSIONAL - for summer program at LHTC 
DUTIES: A Paraprofessional needed to assist teacher w/ Transition students (ages 18-22) with significant special education needs. Students assigned to this center require an extended year program to meet IEP goals. Duties also include on-site job coaching. Paraprofessional report time is 8:15 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. 
DURATION:   Tuesday, July 8-Thursday, July 31, 2025
HOURS: 8:15 A.M. - 10:00 A..M. Tuesdays and Thursdays 
LOCATION: LHTC, The Maxx
SALARY: Hourly per diem rate.

POSITION:   School Nurse, 1.00 FTE
                     Litchfield Hills Transition Center 

POSITION START DATE - August 20, 2025

Qualifications: 
• Experience using a computerized documentation system is preferred.
• Have current Professional Rescuer CPR/ AED certificate and current CT registered nurse license.
• Experience needs to include at least the equivalent of one year full-time working experience as RN within five years immediately prior to employment as a school nurse
• Candidate must have strong communication skills.
