  •   DESCRIPTION:

    The Department of Special Education at Nassau BOCES is seeking a General Special Education Teacher. The successful candidate must have experience working with students with learning, behavior, and social/emotional needs, possesses strong skills in differentiated instruction and demonstrated abilities in data-informed instruction and the Next Generation Learning Standards.


    REQUIREMENTS:

     New York State Certified Special Education Teachers, preferably holding two or more certifications in the following certification areas:
    - Students with Disabilities (Birth-2)
    - Students with Disabilities (Grades 1-6)
    - Students with Disabilities (Grades 5-9)
    - Students with Disabilities (Grades 7-12)

    SALARY:

    As per contract.
