    Description: Teacher's Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistants for Mid-Valley's adult transition program (SAIL).
    This job is part time (.6) - Monday, Tuesday, and Friday at Various Locations

    Mid-Valley Special Education Cooperative provides comprehensive and highly specialized programs that are housed in various locations throughout the member districts. 

    This is a full-time Monday - Friday school calendar position

    Job Summary: Collaborate with teacher and staff to implement academic, vocational, behavioral, communication, independent living skills and social skills programming.
    Assist students with communication, mobility, small motor skills, academics, self help and hygiene needs.

    Qualifications/ Skills Required:
    1:1 support of a female student with physcial needs includes team lifts/transfers, assistance with bathroom and hygiene, and support with assistive technology.

    Qualifications/ Skills Desired:
    History of working with individuals who have ambulatory needs including the use of a wheelchair. Experience working in an adult transition program with students aged 18-22.

    Mid-Valley Special Education Cooperative serves five member districts: Batavia, Central, Kaneland, St. Charles, and Geneva.

    Qualifications: Paraprofessional Licensure or Certified Nursing Assistants Licensure
