Location: Mora Elementary School
Job Duties include: Performs professional work in individual, small group, and/or classroom settings to guide, assess, mentor, and counsel students. Educate and provide emotional support, personal counseling, and other services to meet the unique needs of students. Collaborate with staff and parents to make recommendations for student success. Successful candidates will meet with students individually and in groups to work on specific skills. Candidates will help create lessons for classroom teachers and may lead lessons in the classroom with the help of the homeroom teacher. The candidate's strengths may help determine the grades this position works with.
Qualifications: Appropriate K-12 Minnesota Counselor or PK-12 Social Worker Licensure required.
Salary: Per Education Minnesota Mora Negotiated Master Agreement

DRIVERS NEEDED!!
SUBSTITUTE ROUTE DRIVERS
Job Duties include: Assist in the safe and efficient transportation of students to and from school/events by driving a school bus or other vehicle as assigned, completing required vehicle inspections, training, paperwork and communications.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED: A high school diploma or GED, a valid Minnesota Driver’s License, an insurable driving record, the ability to pass a Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension background check and MNDOT/FMCSA drug/alcohol test (if applicable)
PREFERRED: Experience operating school bus equipment, CDL Class B with School Bus & Passenger Endorsement, CDL medical certification
Wages:
Hourly rate: $18.38
(includes field trips, extra-curricular, pre/post inspection trip, fuel, clean-up, & shuttle)

Substitute Paraprofessional
Location: District Wide
Hours: On Call
Job Duties include: Performs paraprofessional work providing a broad range of assistive services in classroom or clerical settings. Duties may include assisting students with academics, reinforcing positive behaviors and de-escalting negative behaviors, working cooperatively with classroom teachers, Special Education staff and administration. Related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the supervision of the supervising teacher or administrator as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants should be a positive, flexible person with excellent communication skills and enjoy working with children. Must possess skills to work as a team, take direction, assist in the general and special education classrooms, administrative offices and behavior room settings.

INTERNAL POSTING PROFESSIONAL LEARNING COMMUNITY (PLC) FACILITATOR (Q Comp)
One Year Commitment (2024-2025)
Responsibilities
Develop meeting agendas
Communicate with Q Comp team to establish meeting schedule that accommodates members of the PLC
Facilitate team meetings to assure that the team is working toward site goals
Ensure that PLC SMART goal aligns to district SMART goal
Prepare and report minutes (including member attendance and participation) of meetings to Q Comp Coordinator
Participate in 3-4 possible required trainings throughout year
Maintain records of PLC meetings
Communicates with Q Comp PLC Coordinator as needs arise
Qualifications
Current MN Teaching Licensure
Tenure in district preferred
Flexible, self-motivated, collaborative and able to work with diverse teams
Proficiency in communicating instructional strategies and skills to other teachers
Knowledge of current research based best practice that improves student learning
Skills in organization, leadership, communication, and collaboration
Training
Required Facilitator training will be scheduled during back-to-school workshop or the first two weeks of school.
Stipend: $750
