Job Description
 
 
 
Title:                            Event Worker

Reports to:                  Athletic Director

Duties and Responsibilities:
 
1. Assume pre-game/event site preparation and team accommodations.
2. Open gates, ticket booth, locker rooms, press box, restrooms, etc.
3. Turn on scoreboard and make sure it operates.
4. Meet visiting team.
5. Supervise crowd control – enforce school rules.
6. Ensure proper spectator behavior.
7. Visit open locker rooms to check conditions and security.
8. Provide game officials with proper accommodations and pay them.
9. Remain on site until spectators and visiting team and officials have departed.
10. Perform other duties as specified by the athletic director.
 
 
 
 




Event workers are paid per the MEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.

HIGH SCHOOL DRAMA / MUSICAL DIRECTOR

Supplemental Contract Position
 
The High School Drama Director will be responsible for directing two dramas or one drama and one musical production annually. The Drama Director will:
 
1.  Conduct pre-production auditions for students wishing to participate in this activity.
2. Select a cast of characters and support staff for each production.
3. Train the student cast and direct the support staff for performances.
4. Share responsibility with the Drama Producer for the overseeing of the Drama Club account maintained in the Student Activity Fund.
5. Must be able to obtain all clearances for Director, paid staff and volunteers.
   1. Act 114 FBI Criminal Clearance
   2. Act 151 – Child Abuse Clearance
   3. Act 34 – PA State Police
