Job Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and play piano, keyboard, guitar, bass, violin/viola, percussion, horn or any musical instrument accompaniments employing advanced musical skills and demonstrating proficiency in multiple choral genres in rehearsal and public performances.
2. Demonstrate proficient advanced sight-reading skills.
3. Practice as music may indicate to ensure secure performances and playing of vocal parts (open score) during rehearsals.
4. Run sectionals and coach music students during section rehearsals, providing a summary to the director.

Qualifications:

The Developmental Trainee Program is designed to provide training to qualified custodians who are aspiring to be Head Engineers within the Minnetonka Public Schools.  Developmental Trainees will be required to accomplish and pass related online, hands-on, and classroom training to enhance technical skills.  The hiring decision for this position will be based on competencies and will be determined based on work and experience records, test ratings, interviews, performance evaluations, and recommendations.
 
Job Responsibilities:
1. Works with head engineer to handle special requests and to perform daily operations.
2. Works with all trades with an emphasis on cross training in that particular field in order to fill in for any position or shift, including nights and weekends, within the Buildings and Grounds Department
3. Inspects, monitors, and maintains the facilities heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, security, fire alarm and emergency lighting systems. 
4. Performs maintenance and equipment repairs. 
5. Monitors the performance of the custodial staff, provides work direction and training to all custodial staff in the facility, and reviews custodial assignments.
6. Coordinates and performs grounds maintenance duties such as mowing, grass  trimming, tree and brush trimming, snow removal, and cleaning up debris.
7. Cleans, repairs, tests, and operates steam or hot water boilers, water heaters, compressors and other pressure vessels in accordance with Minnesota State Statutes. 
8. Coordinates the receiving and distribution of supplies and equipment within the school. This includes the operation of the District delivery truck. 
9. Keeps a proper inventory of custodial and maintenance supplies.

Job Qualifications:

Assignment Details:
We are seeking current licensed teachers who are interested in providing homebound instruction to students during the school year.  Each year we have students who are in need of homebound instruction because they are unable to attend school for a period of time during the regular school day, which may be due to health issues or other reasons.  Once the student has been placed on homebound services, they are eligible to receive one hour of instruction from a licensed teacher for each day they are not in school.  The scheduling of the hours is flexible in accordance with the teacher's and the student's schedule.  The instruction can then be provided at a neutral location such as the library or at the student's home in some cases.

Specific Level Department Chair Job Description:
This position require strong collaboration with each of the three levels focusing on curriculum alignment, essential learnings and essential instructional practices. The position requires at least three days of collaboration time for the three levels to accomplish the tasks. Ideally, one day would be spent in August, one during the school year, and one in June. Additional time may be required during the school year. This falls under the umbrella of the District and the level Principals.
 
I.        Grades 4-12 Department Chairperson  
1. Lead the instructional work for the department.
2. Co-facilitate monthly department meetings.
3. Lead and ensure deep implementation of the Minnetonka Instructional Framework in all courses to ensure all courses of deep levels of implementation.
4. Lead the work of experiential learning in all courses.
5. Propose new courses that meet the needs of our learners and challenges them.
6. Lead the development of online learning within your department.
7. Create pathways for students to complete rigorous coursework.
8. Lead the work of innovation in the building and actively searching ideas.
9. Help define, integrate and communicate the essential learnings and summative assessments in each course.  
10. Support curriculum mapping and curriculum revision.
11. Provide leadership for selecting materials.
12. Help with recruitment and interviews when appropriate.

Requirements 
1. Continuing Contracted Teacher (tenured) in the department for which position is needed.
2. Ability to lead the development of the District and building goals.
3. Exceptional communication skills.
4. Demonstrated effective leadership within the department, as evidenced by successful experiences directly related to the responsibilities of the position.
5. Willingness to work additional days outside the school year (example: school board meeting or help with summer curriculum writing, or others) as are necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
6. Participation in workshops and additional trainings are required to further develop the knowledge and skills required of the position.
