    Primary Purpose:

     

    Assist in providing behavioral and/or social/emotional skill support to students with disabilities in the school environment.  Assist in implementing behavior intervention plans, as written, assist in delivering social skill instruction, and record/maintain behavioral and social skill data.  Assist in providing crisis intervention, as needed.  Work under the immediate direction of a certified teacher nad general supervision of the campus principal.

     


    Qualifications:

    Education/Certification:
    High school diploma or GED
    Valid Texas texas education aide certificate or willing to obtain certificate

     

     

    Special Knowledge/Skills:
    Abiltiy to work with children with disabilities
    Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
    Ability to communicate effectively
    Knowledge of general office equipment


    Experience:
    Two years' experience working with school-aged children preferred

     


    Other Information:

    Milano ISD operates a 4 and half day week schedule. We are a technologically advanced district with 1:1 apple devices. 

    We offer TRS Insurance and supplemental insurance.  The district pays for a $10,000 life insurance policy for each employee.
