JobTitle: Nutrition Services Employee - Mahtomedi High School

Job Summary: To perform a variety of support responsibilities for food service operations including such things as food preparation, meal serving, clean up and cashiering, in a manner that contributes to the safe and efficient operation of the kitchen site and also the safe and timely availability/delivery of meals and/or services.

Hours per day: 4 hours per day, Monday - Friday (student contact days) 9:30 am - 1:30 am

Start date:  ASAP

Minimum Requirements:
 
Must be Highly Qualified.  Two year degree preferred.  Previous experience working with elementary students in an educational setting preferred. 
 
Job Summary:  
 
Responsible for providing an educational environment that will help students with disabilities in learning and fulfill their growth potential.  Assists special education teachers to work with students on their academic and social behavioral skills.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Identify the needs of assigned students with disabilities through formal and informal assessments
• Ability to handle confrontational situations with students and use good judgement with student restraint if necessary
• Assist with lessons to ensure the achievement of student growth
• Communicate with students, parents and staff on a regular basis on student progress
• Foster a community where all people are valued, respected, seen and heard

Part Time: .8 FTE - This position is part-time at Mahtomedi High School.

Salary:  Salary and benefits are part of the Teacher Master Agreement.

Minimum Requirements:  Must have a valid MN ASL license for grades 9-12.
