TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  12 month, 230 day/year
 
REPORTS TO:  HVAC and Maintenance Supervisors
 
JOB GOAL:  To assist the HVAC and Maintenance Supervisors as needed on system HVAC and Maintenance projects.
 
Qualifications
 
1. High School diploma or GED
2. Minimum of 5 or more years work in maintenance, construction or a similar area preferred
3. Self-Motivated
4. Basic Computer Skills
5. Valid driver’s license with no major motor vehicle violations
 
Performance Responsibilities:
 
1. Address general maintenance needs of the system
2. Be able to travel school to school working on maintenance and HVAC work orders assigned by supervisor
3. Assist plumber with plumbing issues and projects
4. Assist with electrical needs of the system
5. Assist with HVAC needs of the system
6. Assist with Kitchen Equipment repairs
7. Good communication skills verbally and written
8. Attend facilities team meetings as needed
9. Perform other tasks and assume other responsibilities assigned by supervisor(s)

QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required; college experience preferred.
Bookkeeper or similar experience required; School Nutrition Department experience highly
preferred. Minimum of three years of related work experience in a financial setting desired.
General clerical skills such as typing, filing, computer literacy, and knowledge of basic office
machines necessary. CSI/Smart Fusion experience preferred. Applicant must have superb
organizational and multitasking skills and the ability to meet all deadlines as required in a fast-
paced environment. Applicant must be able to follow instructions quickly and accurately as
assigned. Applicant must have the ability to communicate effectively and courteously with the
public, students, and staff as well as the ability to use independent judgment and make
decisions.

REPORTS TO: Food Nutrition Director

PERFORMANCE responsibilities:

• Process department payroll and salary accruals
• Utilize SNP software for job duties such as ordering food and supplies, reports and other information
• Enter the SNP claim and financial information in the GADOE portal
• Enter all department transactions into financial software
• Balance bank statements with department data reports
• Maintains confidentiality and has a cooperative working relationship with parents, school and office staff
• Performs other duties as assigned by school nutrition director

School Psychologist – District (190 day)

POSITION:  SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST
 
Qualifications:
 
1.  Current Georgia certification in School Psychology (P-12).
2.  Hold or be eligible to hold a Specialist degree in School Psychology.
3.  Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
 
Reports To:  Special Education Director
 
Supervises:  Clerical personnel as assigned
 
Terms of Employment:  190 day / 10 month contract; salary and work year to be established by the Board.
 
Job Goal:  To support students in accessing and benefiting from educational opportunities by assessing needs and recommending treatment or intervention strategies
 
Performance Responsibilities:
 
1.  Participate in all Tier 3 (SST) meetings and assist in developing individualized academic and behavioral intervention plans.
2.  Conduct behavioral observations and assist in creating Functional Behavioral Assessments, Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and positive behavioral plans/charts for students as needed.
3.  Consult with teachers and administrators regarding Tier 2 students being considered for Tier 3 placement.  Consult regarding more severe Tier 1 or 2 students on an as needed basis. 
4.  Consult regarding Tier 4 (special education) students on an as needed basis.
5.  Consult with progress monitoring and assist in benchmark assessments on an as needed basis.
6.  Serve as a knowledgeable consultant regarding the Pyramid of Interventions (POI) and the process of Response To Intervention (RTI).
7.  Serve as a knowledgeable consultant regarding data collection and interpretation.
8. Assist in creating district-wide and school based RTI implementation plans.
9.  Serve as a knowledgeable consultant regarding special education eligibility and placement.
10.  Serve as a knowledgeable consultant regarding 504 eligibility
11.  Complete comprehensive evaluations for students being considered for Tier 4 (special education) placement.
12.  Attend all reevaluation review meetings to allow for supervision of the reevaluation review process and monitoring of student progress.
13.  Provides crisis intervention support as needed.
14.  Secures parental permission anytime a school psychologist works one-on-one with a student.
15.  Keeps abreast of new developments in the field.
16.  Is punctual and regular in attendance.
17.  Performs other tasks and assumes other responsibilities as the Superintendent/Director may from time to time assign.
