Jumoke Academy seeks a dynamic, courageous and innovative ART teacher serving grades Prek - 8, who is committed to excellence for every child and will accept nothing less. This individual must be highly motivated and mission-driven; teacher who sweats the small stuff without losing sight of the big picture.  The ideal teacher candidate will have a proven track record of:

•Ensuring fidelity to curriculum, instructional excellence and best-practices in assessment
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS
Certification/License:         Appropriate CT State Certification
Education:                          An accredited Bachelor's or Masters Degree
Experience:                        Preferably at least three years of teaching experience at the intermediate elementary and middle school level. Fresh graduates with a degree in ART are welcome to apply.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT AND WORK SCHEDULE
Ten month work year. Standard teacher work schedule, including attendance at professional development, open houses, parent conferences and staff meetings as needed.
