The behavior technician position is part of the Jordan Behavior Assistance Team (JBAT).  Members of JBAT support the behavioral needs of students across Jordan District in Pre-K through Post High School so they can access core content and engage in healthy social interactions in the least restrictive environment possible.  Behavior technicians assist behavior specialists in collaborating with school teams to develop behavior intervention plans for students.

UTAH STATE RETIREMENT
Benefit eligible employees are automatically members of the Utah Retirement Systems (URS). This means that the District contributes into the URS plan on your behalf each month. The Jordan assistive technology team evaluates students to determine assistive technology needs, provides education and training to students and the team members that support them, and manages the JSD assistive technology lending library and equipment upkeep.
Support staff assisting the UATT team will assist in the following tasks:
• Updating UATT Inventory Database
• Checking equipment in and out of the UATT Equipment inventory database
