Position: ECFE Childcare Substitute
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, Hours varies (as needed)
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: $19.65 per hour.

Required Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in First Aid and CPR
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
- Prior experience in school age care or education
Responsibilties:
- Assist the teacher/instructor in setting up before programming begins and cleaning up after programming ends
- Assist participants and the teacher/instructor throughout programming as needed
- Prepare materials for classroom activities as directed by the teacher/instructor
- Assist in the supervision of children
- Provide a safe and nurturing learning environment in accordance with District and program policies and procedures
- Report accidents/incidents to the teacher/instructor
- Work cooperatively with all staff, volunteers, and program participants
- Complete observations and provide input on students as requested by the teacher/instructor
- Implement specific procedures for student behavior as directed by the teacher/instructor
- Other duties as assigned
May be regularly required to walk throughout a building and may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance or push up to 90 pounds, and must be able to restrain students with proper training and assistance when needed, and may be required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
