Compensation: Based on 2024-2025 Administrator Salary Schedule $117,519 - 132,269. Salary is prorated based on FTE and start/end dates of the position.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Program Director supports the District with specific duties related to building and sustaining Pre-K through Post-Secondary Pathways to Adult Success. Includes programs that support student learning from elementary to postsecondary transitions. The position works collaboratively with administrators, student services personnel, counselors and teachers to ensure the delivery of career development services and post-secondary education and employment and assists with ensuring program funding and compliance. In addition, the position is responsible for the supervision of the summer extended programs which heavily incorporate pathways programmatic elements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A Master’s Degree and a minimum of five years experience in college and career education (counseling, CTE, college access)
A valid Oregon Administrative License or ability to obtain by start date
Evidence of shifting systems to meet the needs of a diverse range of students and families (BIPoC, Emerging Multilingual Learners, LGBTQ2SIA+, Students with Disabilities, Students in Poverty, Foster Care, or otherwise historically disadvantaged)
Knowledge of scholarship process and academic requirements for post-secondary institutions and apprenticeship opportunities for all students
Knowledge of Career Technical Education programs and operations as determined by Federal Perkins funds
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Manages all CTE functions including managing the Carl Perkins grant and budget.
Supervise the development and implementation of the CTE and/or STEM investments based on requirements of the Oregon Legislature and the recommendations of the CTE Advisory and the STEM Advisory Council.
Coordinates the development and implementation of high school diploma requirements as it relates to career learning and career pathways and essential skills.
Develops and implements Pathways’ initiatives by providing leadership in support of secondary career pathways in academics, fine arts, career and technical education and pre-professional pathways.
Supervises Teachers on Special Assignment (TOSAs) who have responsibilities directly related to this role (i.e.: CTE, STEM, & Pathways).
Directs work of all College & Career Coordinators
Supervise pre-apprenticeship program at both High Schools in coordination with Career Coordinators and CTE Trades teachers
Builds and maintains partnerships with industry representatives and postsecondary institutions
Leads and manages all dual and articulated college course credits in CTE pathways.
Direct and supervise the review of teaching and learning research and successful practices that support personalized learning and the integration of academic and career and technical education and STEAM education efforts in elementary, middle and high schools.
Leads and manages Industry Certifications in partnership with industry partners, certification agencies and to include ordering, disseminating, analyzing, and reporting certifications.
Evaluates the effectiveness of the Pathways program and makes recommendations or revisions as necessary.
Initiates and maintains effective collaborations with other school districts, universities, and professional associations to stay current on effective practices.
Manages systemic change and successfully implements reform initiatives that produce significant gains in closing the achievement gap.
Demonstrates knowledge of high-leverage, research-based instructional strategies and models for improving instructional practices.
Develops, implements, monitors and revises curriculum for career pathway education (grades K-12)
Supervise the development of site visits and progress reports and data collection.
Collaborates with the Student Support Services Office and other areas to deliver instructional programs aligned with the needs of exceptional populations.
Coordinate and supervise the planning of District professional development activities.
Supervises the planning and implementation of district summer pathways and transition programming.

Use email, internet software, inventory software, spreadsheets and word processing and presentation software.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The employee is regularly required to talk or hear; regularly required to sit and use hands for fine manipulation, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is regularly required to walk or stand and must regularly lift and/or move 25 pound and occasionally up to 50 pounds and on rare occasion, up to 75 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
