General Job Description:

This training will provide well-planned current instruction that meets the needs of students and business and industry. The Welding Instructor provides course instruction and lab work for the adult education students for training entry-level and skill upgrade welding.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: 
The Systems Support Engineer assists the Director of Technology in the ongoing programs/plans to support the use of technology and the computer network system at the Warren County Career Center. The Systems Support Engineer will work in such a manner to ensure the best education possible for the Secondary and Adult Education programs. The Systems Support Engineer shall uphold the leadership initiative set forth by the Director of Technology as it relates to support of the employees, students and all others in relation to the Warren County Career Center.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the District Technology Plan.
• Install, test, monitor and administer computer networks and related computing
environments including computer hardware, systems software, application software and all configurations.
• Implement security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
• Create electronic data backup to prevent loss of information.
• Identify information technology project resource requirements.
• Recommend changes to improve computer or information systems.
• Collaborate with others to resolve information technology issues.
• Train others in computer interface or software use.
• Document network-related activities or tasks.
• Conduct research to gain information about products or processes.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of technology utilized by the district and industry as a whole.

ADDITIONAL WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT:
• Occasional: Exposure to severe weather, traffic, blood, bodily fluids and tissue, light lifting (up to 50 pounds), travel to remote sites, attend functions and perform duties outside normal working hours.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Periodic: Exposure to loud noise, irritating and hazardous chemicals, fumes, and unruly children and adults.
• Frequent: Prolonged periods of standing and lifting (10-20 pounds) of supplies and materials. Bending, stooping and reaching for items. Follow all Board safety rules and procedures.  Participate in the school safety training when requested.

General Job Description:
This individual will serve as an Instructor in the area of Design/Modeling and Flight/Space utilizing Project Lead The Way curriculum for students attending Lebanon Jr. High School.
 
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Designs meaningful and sequential instruction with relevant learning activities to meet career technical program and PLTW goals
• Plans and implements lessons based on established PLTW curriculum, centered on the needs and abilities of students
• Provides instruction to students and helps prepare them for high school curriculum and problem solving
• Utilizes student data to inform and design classroom instruction
• Promotes the program and recruits students through a variety of activities
• Works with program advisory committee to advance program innovations, evaluate the significance of emerging technology, create opportunities for students, and ensure program standards and activities are relevant to the needs of business and industry
• Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Must successfully complete training for PLTW courses during the summer/fall of 2025 
• Willingness to problem solve in both a team and independent environment
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and technology skills
• Adheres to the Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators
• Maintains compliance with Board policies and other applicable procedures/guidelines
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Hold a valid Ohio Driver’s License
• Valid Licensure by the Ohio Department of Education grades K-8, 7-12 or 9-12  (Math or Science) preferred 
Salary:
Appropriate placement on the Certified Staff Salary Schedule established in the Master Agreement to be determined by education and experience.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Assume responsibility for the delivery of quality instruction and assessment in his/her specific assignment.  Will ensure that maximum learning can take place to help students learn subject matter and skill that will contribute to their understanding of the concepts and critical thinking skills as mature and responsible citizens and members of the workforce.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Provides direct supplemental instruction to those students requiring support in the academic, applied and/or related areas.
• Supports academic instructors in the classroom, and provides individual, small group instruction to meet needs, specifically designed instruction and ability of students.        
• Provides all necessary support services for students with disabilities.
• Maintains written progress reports for students served to include, but not limited to, formal assessments, pre and post-   tests, and daily assignments.
• Develops and prepares a variety of teaching aids/resources and instruction to supplement academic instruction classes.
• Prepares and maintains a weekly schedule of students to be served and maintain close communication     and interaction with regular academic and career technical instructors.
• Maintains close communications and a “team” effort with all staff.
• Maintains appropriate learning atmosphere through utilization of available resources and equipment.
• Makes modifications within the curriculum according to the student’s IEP.
• Assists with Ohio graduation assessments administration for the students who require      accommodations.
• Maintains up to date IEP records in accordance with federal and state mandated compliance.
• Maintains knowledge of options for students with disabilities within Warren County Career Center      district, partner schools, and in community service agencies.
• Creates an environment for success, fosters a love of learning while creativity and risk taking are                  valued and encouraged.
• Assists students in constructing their own learning and holding students responsible for their own      behavior.
• Commits to meeting high quality educational standards for self and students.
• Assists with student recruitment activities (i.e. sophomore visitations and open house).
• Maintains up to date knowledge of technology utilized by the district to enhance the teaching and learning process.
• Assures appropriate supervision of students at all times.
• Participates in open houses, parent conferences, attend all faculty and departmental meetings in accordance with district policy and the Master Contract.
• Provides intervention for those students who have been identified as requiring additional academic instruction.
• Attends district events, as requested and scheduled on the district calendar.
• Works with family, school, business/industry and community to maximize educational opportunities for students.
• Maintains an acceptable attendance record and is punctual.
• Maintains valid teaching license with appropriate endorsement(s) for the position to which the employee is assigned.
• Perform any and all other duties as assigned
