This position is for a 223 day contract, 8 hours a day.

Hourly rate $20.53-$26.66
Qualifications: 1. Minimum of High School Diploma, or equivalent.
2. Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism, while meeting critical deadlines.
3. Ability to skillfully utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite programs and other web-based applications.
4. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing.
5. Ability to keep employee and student matters strictly confidential.
6. Ability to provide excellent customer service through highly proficient interpersonal skills including the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Definition: This Administrative Assistant performs a wide variety of support to assist with the smooth functioning of the school building. Primary responsibilities include acting as the building cashier, with oversight of all student activities accounts, school-sponsored fundraisers, scholarships, band/orchestra and other building budget responsibilities.
Essential Functions:
A. CLERICAL
- Serve as the administrative assistant to the Assistant/Associate Principal.
- Procure necessary materials and supplies for the Assistant/Associate Principal.
- Ensure the confidentiality and accuracy of student records and information.
- Maintain an inventory of required forms and assist faculty with clerical tasks when necessary.
- Maintain responsibility for enrollment and attendance records.
- Sort of daily mail.
B. ACCOUNTING
- Generate purchase orders, including ordering and distributing materials and payment of invoices.
- Manage the following building accounts: 007/008 (Scholarships), 200s (Student Clubs/Activities) and 300 (Band/Music).
- Submit all payments along with purchase orders to the Treasurer’s Office.
- Work closely with all club coordinators to submit budget, purchase orders and payments.
- Prepare deposits and all corresponding paperwork for student fees, fundraisers, clubs, plays and musicals.
- Prepare ticket reconciliation for events.
- Submit all paperwork for fundraisers and service projects and the reconciliation of the events.
- Create events online (e.g. via Local Level or Hometown ticketing) for events such as After Prom, Clubs, Homecoming, Prom and all other fundraising events.
- Responsible for collection of student fees and reconciliation with the Treasurer's Office.
- Responsible for the selling of parking passes.
- Process necessary paperwork for work permits
C. OTHER
- Performs other duties as assigned.
