    Interested candidates should possess the following criteria:

     

    • Demonstrated knowledge of K-8 and Algebra Ohio Learning Standards as well as the standards for Mathematical Practice

    • Evidence of lesson planning and instructional design which includes problem solving/reasoning skills, inquiry-based learning, and real-world/community connections

    • Demonstrated knowledge of intervention methods and materials needed within instruction to meet the needs of all students

    • Evidence of positive communication/collaboration skills with students, parents, and school staff

    • A commitment to grow professionally and work collaboratively across grade levels and content areas

    • Valid Ohio Teaching License to teach 6-8 Mathematics
