QUALIFICATIONS: 
CDL License Class B/School Bus and Passenger Endorsement is required. The school district will pay for successful candidates to obtain their CDL if they do not currently have it.  

We are seeking:
• Part-time bus drivers.  The pay rate will be $28 per hour.  Scheduled hours worked will cover AM and PM bus routes.  Additional hours will vary based on district need.
• One full-time bus drivers.  Full-time drivers will be expected to fulfill some non-driving duties throughout the day.  Ideally, candidates for the full-time position will have their Substitute Teacher certification through the New Jersey Department of Education.  The pay rate for the full-time positions is $28 per hour.  Single benefits will be offered to successful candidates.
If you want to drive a school bus in New Jersey, you will need "P" and "S" endorsements. To obtain these endorsements, you must: 
• Be at least 21 years old with 3 years of driving experience.
• Have 20/40 vision in each eye, with or without corrective lenses.
• Have 70 degree peripheral vision in each eye.
• Be able to distinguish the colors red, green, and amber.
• Pass a federal background check.
• Pass a state criminal background check.
• Be fingerprinted.
• Submit a Medical Examination Report for Commercial Driver Fitness Determination (Form 649-F).
• Submit a Bus Application (Form DR-14).
