Position Goal:
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) working under the direct supervision of a Board
Certified Behavior Analyst will implement behavior intervention plans for students with social,
emotional and academic needs. The RBT will collect data on behaviors to determine use and
effectiveness of interventions and supports to reduce disruptive behaviors and promote
prosocial replacement behavior acquisition. The RBT works closely with frontline staff, as well
as building and district administration.

Preferred Qualifications:
•  Experience working with students/young adults with exceptionalities
• Completion of approved 40 hour RBT training course, knowledge of applied behavior analysis
• Certification/training in school based de-escalation/emergency safety intervention techniques
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to implement best practices, motivate others and help students achieve high performance standards
• Desire to enhance skills and improve job performance
• Successful completion of agility test (post employment offer)
• Health and inoculation certification on file (post-employment offer)
• Pass criminal background check (post-employment offer)
