 Position Qualifications
• Educator License with Stipulations endorsed in transitional Bilingual Education (ELS-TBE) or; Professional Educator’s License (PEL) as set forth by the Illinois State Board of Education with one of the following applicable endorsement(s):
• Self-Contained General Education (SCGE, K-9) or;
• Self-Contained General Education (SCGE, 1-6) plus;
• Bilingual Spanish endorsement (SPAN, K-8 or SPAN, 5-8) or;
• Short Term Approval for Teachers at All Grade Levels in Bilingual Spanish
• Experience in an elementary classroom setting preferred
• Ability to create a fun and engaging learning environment
Salary
• New Substitutes: Days 1-30, $130.00; Days 11+, $281.77
• Returning Substitutes: Days 1-10, $145.00; Days 11+, $281.77

Position Qualifications
 
• Valid/Active Professional Educator’s License through Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) registered in Will County, IL required with the following applicable endorsements:
  • Music (MUS, 5-8)- required and;
    • Technology Education (TEED)- preferred/desirable or;
    • Audio &Video Broadcasting (AVBT)- preferred/desirable
• Demonstrated computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office.
• Ability to interact closely with students with patience, flexibility and a caring attitude that caters to diverse learning needs.
 
Salary
 
• Salary Range- $52,541.00 - $75,480.00
• Current Staff Member- Pay/increases will be in accordance with the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between Frankfort Teachers’ Association and Frankfort School District 157-C Board of Education.
