    POSITION: School Psychologist Intern
     
    LOCATION:  District-wide
     
    NUMBER OF DAYS PER YEAR:  184 preferred but will consider fewer days
     
    NUMBER OF HOURS PER DAY:  8 hours per day
     
    DUTIES:  Franklin Community Schools is proud to offer a School Psychologist Internship Program that is designed to provide practical experiences to students in their final year of their Specialist program. Our internships are paid positions with a preferred commitment of a full school year. The intern is expected to follow the same daily schedule and yearly calendar as other School Psychology staff employed by Franklin Community Schools.  The purpose of our Internship Program is to build the capacity of competent School Psychologist candidates with the ability to serve a wide-range of student needs including prevention, intervention, consultation, assessment, and program evaluation. Internships are based on guidelines set forth by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). We provide interns with the ability to work with a variety of student populations and perform a wide range of school psychologist duties under the supervision and guidance of highly qualified practicing School Psychologists. This experience is intentionally designed for maximum learning benefit of the intern and is customizable to individual interests. Successful interns
    will be top candidates for open positions with us. Employment offer after internship is subject to available position, interview selection, and meeting licensure requirements.
     
    REQUIREMENTS: 1) Be enrolled in the final year of a NASP-Accredited Program for an Education Specialist degree (Ed.S) in School Psychology 2) Completed the supervised practicum field experience aligned with the NASP standards for graduate preparation documented by the graduate institution preceding/in preparation for the internship 3) Be in good standing with the college/university

    SALARY:  $35.06/hour
