SUMMER LEARNING ACADEMY 2025 – TEACHER IN CHARGE
(MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL)


We are presently accepting applications for the following positions. These positions require proper N.J. certification:
 
Qualifications:
NJ Certificates: Instructional, Educational Service or Administrative 
• Familiar with NJ Student Learning Standards
• Strong instructional background
• Strong leadership and organizational skills

Middle School (Grades 5-8)
Dates: Monday through Friday, July 1 to July 31, 2025
(no classes on July 4)
Hours:  8:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. Monday through Friday
Location: Thomas Jefferson Middle School 
Rate: $44.27*/per hour
*until such a time a successor agreement is reached
 

High School (Grades 9-12)
Dates: Monday through Friday, July 1 to July 31, 2025
(no classes on July 4)
Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Location: TBD 
Rate: $44.27*/per hour 
*until such a time a successor agreement is reached
 
Each Teacher in Charge will work an additional 10 hours prior to the start for program preparation.
