GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB
 
Under the limited supervision of the Director of Secondary Education and/or the Coordinator of Assessment and Accountability, individuals in these positions are responsible for preparing for a culminating event or field study. Responsibilities include developing pacing guides specific to the week of the program for gifted and talented students in each arts area, supervising students during the summer program or field study day, and maintaining classroom management at all times. Individuals may work on a rotating basis with gifted and talented students in music (e.g.; band, chorus, orchestra), dance, and visual arts. These positions report directly to the Director of Secondary Education. 

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
 
Requires a Bachelor's degree in grade/subject area taught with a valid South Carolina Teaching Certificate.
