    •   LOCATION:  Lomax Center
    LENGTH OF WORK YEAR:  Year Round
    POSITION SUMMARY:  Teaching the basic in Math, Science, English and Social studies.
     
    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
     
                EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:  Bachelors degree 
                PREFERRED:  Someone who can teach adults of varying educational levels. 
                EXPERIENCE:  Teaching experience at the secondary level a plus but not required. 
                SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:  Basic Math, Science, Social Studies, English 
     
    DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:  Record keepng of students progress in class.  Should be able to attend  professional development (15 hrs) during the year as required by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). Pre and Post test students using the Casas test. 
     
    REPORTS TO:  Adult Education Director
    MINIMUM SALARY:  $25/ hour
