WAGE/HOUR STATUS: Non-Exempt SALARY RANGE: $19.20 Min $27.35 Max
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Plumber is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all plumbing systems as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Graduate or GED required
Journeyman’s license required; may be substituted for irrigation license and or 5 years plumbing experience
Master license preferred
Able to read blueprints and schematics
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain all plumbing systems in good working condition.
• Performs services needed for plumbing such as repairing water leaks, repairing or replacing pipes. equipment, or fixtures.
• Makes minor installations as directed by supervisor.
• Maintains heating equipment in compliance with all Federal-Slate Commission and Insurance requirements.
• Performs irrigation duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Perfoms all duties in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or to others.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
EQUIPMFNT USED:
• Districit vehicle, two-way radio, baekhoe, trenching machine, rooter rotor, electric hand tools, and soldering torch .

• Frequent district travel, strenuous bending, climbing, and walking, working in extreme weather conditions, working on slippery uneven surfaces, and exposure to toxic fumes and chemicals
