RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary Duties: Responsible for overseeing the safety of people in the pool and pool area, maintaining a safe and clean environment, assisting WSI's in teaching classes if necessary, enforcing all pool rules and regulations, attending meetings and in-services, other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications: Must hold current Red Cross Lifeguard Certification and Red Cross First Aid, CPR and AED for the Professional Rescuer.
Primary Duties: Assisting Red Cross Swim Instructors in the water or on deck during lessons per the instruction and evaluations given by the instructor. Gain experience and knowledge of Red Cross Swim Lessons; this is beneficial if there is a future desire to train as a Red Cross Swim Instructor.
Qualifications: Be able to demonstrate knowledge of basic swim strokes and/or equivalent experience working with kids, 14 years of age, or older.

Special Education Paraprofessional - Delano Public Schools - Delano Elementary Delano Elementary is looking for patient, caring, supportive person who can assist teachers in managing/monitoring student behaviors and provide assistance with academic work completion as well as functional skills. Job Summary: The paraprofessional will support students with disabilities which may include academic, social, behavioral, and functional needs. The paraprofessional may work in mainstream classrooms or special education classrooms under the direction of licensed special education teachers. Additional duties may include supporting extracurricular activities or bus routes. On rare occasions this assignment may entail work in evenings or weekends.
