Job Summary: Substitute teachers are responsible for providing instruction and managing classroom environments in absence of the regular staff. Substitute teachers are required to perform all of the regular staff duties for whom they are substituting for. Substitute teachers usually report to the principal at the location to which they are assigned. 

Qualifications: You must submit an online application, complete an OSBI fingerprint background clearance check and attend a 22-23 Training Session. (dates and times on our website)You must also do online GCN training modules annually. You must be at least 21 years of age to substitute at Deer Creek High School. 

Working Conditions: Normal classroom environment.

The Background Check form should be attached. Please print, make an appointment and go to the Oliver Hodge Building (directions attached). They will send me the results within 2 weeks normally.
