- Student Attendance and Registration
- Manage student registration, attendance updates, and records in district systems.
- Generate attendance reports for administration and state compliance.
- Support teachers with parent/guardian communication regarding attendance concerns.
- Assist with student count responsibilities, including the annual official student count.
- Supervise students in the front office during behavioral resets or in-school suspension, ensuring coordination with administration.

- Student Records Management
- Update and maintain student cumulative (CUM) files and the student tracking database in accordance with district policy.
- Coordinate student enrollments and transfer requests with school staff.
- Facilitate the transfer of student records to and from Pupil Records.

- Front Office and Customer Service Support
- Provide front desk support, handling inquiries from staff, students, families, and visitors.
- Answer, screen, and route phone calls, providing information or directing to appropriate contacts.

- Administrative and Financial Support
- Assist with suspension and discipline correspondence, scheduling staff meetings, and handling mail.
- Process work orders, order supplies, and maintain school handbooks.
- Update the parent communication website and prepare informational flyers for school events.
- Reconcile monthly school bank statements, update financial activities, and process financial transactions in compliance with district policies.
- Oversee timekeeping software for hourly staff, ensuring accurate edits, approvals, and pay-period reconciliation.
- Oversee the substitute seeking software, including monthly reconciliations and absence tracking.

- Health Assistant Coverage
- Administer student medications in compliance with federal, state, and district policies when the Health Assistant is unavailable.
- Maintain records of program staff certified in CPR, AED, and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI).
- Monitor and document the monthly status of the AED machines.

- Volunteer and Emergency Coordination
- Train, assign tasks, and supervise student aides and school volunteers.
- Coordinate and assist with fire, emergency, shelter-in-place and lockdown drills.
- Assist with protocol implementation during school emergencies, including student/staff coordination and communication with families, law enforcement, and district security.
