    This is a full-time, Pre-K Early Intervention teaching position at for the John S. Charlton Program / CR Countywide Programs.  This will be a satellite classroom at Star Hill Elementary School.

    Individuals who are eligible or possess Early Childhood Teacher and Special Education Teacher of Students with Disabilities are encouraged to apply. 


    QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must meet State of Delaware certification requirements for Early Childhood Teacher and Special Education Teacher of Students with Disabilities. Successful candidates must provide evidence of successful PRAXIS II scores or a valid out of state teaching license.

               
    Out of State Candidates: An educator applying for a license in the State of DE with less than 1 year of experience will be placed on an Initial License.  Applicants with one completed year of experience, but less than 4 years of experience will receive an Initial License.

    SALARY In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree. Benefits package included. 

    PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
    • Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation.
    • All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
    • Anyone offered employment is required to provide the following:  proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver’s License), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I-9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
