Purpose
Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic and enrichment subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
Qualifications
Minimum Certification/Education:
• 24 college hours in education/ youth issues, preferred.
Minimum Experience:
• Two years’ experience in after school program, without college hours
Knowledge
• CISD policies and procedures.
• Classroom techniques and etiquette.
• Knowledge of infusing academic and leisure studies.

Major Responsibilities and Duties - Ensure a healthy and safe environment for staff and students
- Ensure that facilities, equipment, and supplies are maintained
- Manage student behavior in accordance with Student code and Student handbook.
- Maintain a professional relationship with colleagues, students, parents, and community members
- Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the 21st Century curriculum
- Participate in staff development activities to improve job-related skills
$15.00 per hour
