Job Summary: 
Planning, stocking and  implementing and supervising visual/performing arts camp for children, ages 6 to 12 in a day camp setting. Camps include instruction in two and three dimensional visual art, drama, dance and music, radio, video and creative writing.
 
Job Summary:

• Attend to the health, safety and discipline of campers at all times, adhering to all Health Department protocols
• Manage supplies and maintain an organized and safe camp environment
• Maintain positive customer relations with campers and their parents
• Perform administrative tasks that support the efficient running of the program
 
Qualifications:
• College degree or coursework in the arts, education or related field or equivalent experience
• Excellent organizational and communication skills and ability to cooperate and collaborate with artists
• Must be able to physically keep up with children
• Responsible and reliable
• Prior camp experience and experience working with children
 
Schedule:
 Camp season runs June 1 through August 14, 2025. You must be available for full weeks during camp season to work.

Description: 

Responsible for the safety and discipline of a designated group of campers, ages 6 to 12 in an instructional camp setting.  Assists in both performing and visual arts sections.

Job Summary:
• Attend mandatory staff training and achieve required qualifications  
• Collaborate with other Camp Staff
• Attend to the health, safety and discipline of campers at all times
• Participate in classes and assist teachers
• Assist with planning and execution of all parents night activities
• Maintain positive customer relations with campers and their parents
Qualifications:
• Prior experience working with children, preferably in a camp setting
• Responsible and reliable, able to work independently and follow policies and procedures
• must be able to physically keep up with active children 
• Arts background helpful
• Prior camp experience is helpful
• First aid certification by camp opening (training provided)
• Mandated reporter by camp opening (training provided)
• Available for all dates and hours camp is open

Working Conditions:

Outside when possible, in arts/dance or music studio

This is a full-time, seasonal summer position. Schedule includes 8 consecutive weeks during the summer.
