    The Kindergarten Teacher provides engaging and effective instruction in accordance with Catholic values and academic standards. This role supports our mission of growing disciples by fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that cultivates intellectual, spiritual, and emotional development.

    • Instruction: Plan and deliver dynamic, developmentally appropriate lessons that align with curriculum guidelines and address the needs of diverse learners.

    • Faith Integration: Incorporate Catholic teachings and values into daily instruction and activities, fostering a love for learning and faith.

    • Student Engagement: Create a welcoming and structured classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and motivated to achieve their best.

    • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and organized learning space that encourages cooperation, responsibility, and respect among students.

    • Collaboration: Work closely with parents, staff, and administration to support student growth and success.

     

    What You Need

     

    To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

     
    • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field

    • Previous teaching experience desired

    • Illinois Professional Educator License or ability to obtain licensure

    • Strong classroom management and instructional skills

    • Effective communication and collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues

    • Passion for early childhood education and faith-based instruction

    • Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education

     

    Top Candidates Will Also Have

     
    • Experience teaching in a Catholic school setting

    • Understanding of early childhood development and instructional best practices

    • Familiarity with differentiated instruction and technology integration in the classroom
